Quality Restoration Services, Inc. was founded in 1991 by Dave Stech. Daves’ dream was to create a business that offered mobile interior and exterior paint services, and to build a company that supported the community and its employees. QRS grew to be the standard for quality repair and fair pricing in the Michiana area.

QRS served our local automotive dealers and RV manufactures, being the “go to” place for customer service and quality. Our slogan “Providing Quality Repair Services at a Fair Price” has held true for over 30 years as QRS has gained the trust and confidence of automotive owners in the area. In 2016 after Dave’s passing, his son Kelvin came onboard to help manage the business.

In 2021 Kelvin took over ownership of QRS. His drive for wanting to serve the community in larger capacity lead to expanding our services and facilities to accommodate the needs of the community.

In October of 2022 Ashley and Tim moved their business, Sonic Performance, into the building next door to QRS. This move started a relationship with QRS that grew over the following few years. 

Then in April of 2024 Tim and Ashley, with Tim’s 20 years of automotive experience and more than 10 years managing a body shop, and Ashley’s 10 years of accounting and office managing experience, came on as partners to continue to help QRS grow and expand our services. 

QRS now offers complete body repair and collision services (including hail) for all modern cars, trucks and SUV’s along with classic cars, motorcycles and RV’s. QRS works with all insurance companies through all repair processes from start to finish. Our goal as we grow is to serve the community with friendly and respectful customer service.
